1988 FLEER #260

Type: Base Card
Acquired: Bought at Card Show
I love the look of this FLEER card set. The red and blue stripes on the white background are classic Americana. The backs are clean, give complete stats and also give us a nice split of night/day & home/away numbers for each player. I also really dig the "candid" shot of Bo on this card. He's got a smirk on his face that says "I'm ready to crush some balls"!

1988 Donruss Baseball's Best #119

Type: Base Card
Acquired: Bought at Card Show
I didn't even know Donruss Baseball's Best was a thing when I picked this card up. I thought it looked weird and the colors were different from the regular issue set. I just thought it was some sort of special card from the 88 Donruss base set. I like the picture on the front, but the orange, red and black color scheme does little for me. I prefer the blue, red and black of the regular set.

1991 Score #692 MASTER BLASTER

Type: Base Card
Acquired: Trade
A few months ago we took a look at the 1992 Score RIFLEMAN card and just like that one I absolutely love this card! If you are a Bo collector this is a must have for your collection. The red laser graphical background was mind blowing in the 90s and it still gives me goosebumps today. The photo on the front is a nice action shot, but the back has an outstanding shot of Bo smiling while out on the diamond. Great job Score!

1992 Donruss Triple Play #164

Type: Base Card
Acquired: Pulled From Pack
I really liked the Donruss Triple Play set. It was a nice looking product at a lower price point than most packs at the time. The photography was clean and this Bo card shows it. This card came out around the time Bo was still new to the White Sox and it looks like he is happy to be there. My only hang up with this set is that I wished the backs had more stats, but the trivia is always a welcome addition!
