1992 Classic #108

Type: Base Card
Acquired: Bought Online
This card has a nice look to it, almost like it was meant to be a poster hanging on some Bo Jackson fanatic back in the early 90s. I know I had something similar to this on my wall from the Chicago White Sox days. The front of the card is very colorful and includes a nice at bat photo of Bo and the color is nicely complimented by the all white back of the card. The back leaves a ton of stats out and it would have been nice to see Jackson's stats from previous years.

1990 Donruss Grand Slammers #12

Type: Insert Card
Acquired: Bought Online
Growing up, I never knew this card existed. From some online research the Grand Slammers set was released as an extra for those who bought the complete set in 1990. The cards commemorate 12 players who hit Grand Slam home runs during the previous season. These players include such greats as Matt Williams, Mark McGwire, Will Clark, Fred McGriff and Mr. Bo Jackson himself. I actually like the look of this card. A lot of people really don't care for the 1990 Donruss set design, but I find it unique and the addition of the "Grand Slammers" stripe in the lower left corner really adds to the card and does not obstruct the nice photo of Bo. the back gives a brief history of Bo's Grand Salami on September 27, 1989 off of Angels reliever Willie Fraser. This card is a nice addition to this stand out set.

1990 Score #566

Type: Base Card
Acquired: Pulled From Pack
I freakin' love this card! It shows Bo at his peak and gives us a glimpse at what could have been if that pesky hip injury never happened on the gridiron. In 1989 Bo was the star of stars when he grabbed MVP honors at the MLB All-Star Game. Bo smashed a home run off of Rick Reuschel in the first inning, drove in 2 RBI, scored 1 run and had a stolen base! Not bad on 4 plate appearances. What a great, iconic Bo Jackson photo on the back with him hoisting the MVP trophy. This is a great card from a nice early 90s set. A must have for any Bo collector!

1995 Donruss #507

Type: Base Card
Acquired: Bought Online
I really like the design of this card. Even though this is from the tail end of Bo Jackson's career you can see the joy he had playing the game just by taking a look at the photo on the back. That smile says it all. I wish I was that happy at my job! Anyway, the front of the card also has a nice look to it from the post hit large photo to the warm up stance of the small photo in the left hand corner. It's clean, contains foil stamping and is an altogether solid card from Bo's years with the Angels.

2005 Donruss Career Best #CB-6

Type: Relic Card
Acquired: Bought Online
This card is AMAZING! I feel this way because of the way Donruss was able to use the foil background and photo to create a very nice looking card. I almost like these relic cards a lttle more than the standard jersey cards you find in packs. This is due to the fact that this piece of bat just may have been used by my hero, Bo Jackson while he was slamming a home run off of another hapless pitcher. It's so cool to have a piece of history in my hand that you can feel and realize your hero held this same piece of wood during an actual MLB game.
