This card highlights Bo's 1985 Heisman trophy win as the best player in college football. If memory serves me correct his win was one of the closest in Heisman voting history when he narrowly edged out Iowa QB Chuck Long by 45 votes! Some other notable players that reeived votes that year were Vinny Testaverde, Thurman Thomas, Napoleon MaCallum, Jim Everett & Lorenzo White. Bo beat out all these great college football athletes by running for 1,786 yards and 17 touchdowns. That season gave Bo totals of 4,303 yards and 45 touchdowns in his college career. Records at the time for Auburn University and a snapshot of the greatness that was to come from Mr. Jackson on the gridiron!
