2005 Topps Fan Favorites #FFR-BJ

Type: Memorabilia Card
Acquired: Bought Online
I am a sucker for any type of memorabilia cards. I know they have been declining in popularity over the years, but I still looks for these cards for a decent price. Usually I am able to find a plethora of jersey cards online, but this card really caught my eye. It contains a piece of bat that Bo Jackson actually used during one of his MLB games! I imagine the bat that this sliver came from was used to smash a mammoth home run over the fences in Kansas City! Not only is this a unique piece of Bo history, but the card is also really great looking. From the bold colors to the photo choice this is one of my fave Bo Jackson cards in my collection.

2011 UD Goodwin Champions #M-BJ

Type: Memorabilia Card
Acquired: Purchased Online
I have been a fan of the Upper Deck Goodwin Champions cards sets for a while now. I love the old timey look and feel of the graphics and design. The only problem I have with this series of cards is that the paintings of the athletes are hit or miss. Some look strikingly like the athlete while others seem a little off. This Bo card seems a little off to me. It's not a terrible representation of Mr. Jackson, just not the best I've seen. Oh well, at least it comes with a piece of game worn Raiders jersey!

2003 Leaf Certified Materials

Type: Memorabilia Card
Acquired: Via Ebay
This was the first memorabilia card I ever purchased of Bo Jackson. I grabbed it off Ebay for around $15. It is cut from an authentic game worn jersey from the 1990 MLB season. Of course this was Bo's last season as Royal before his hip injury caused him to be released by the team. My goal is to collect enough of these cards so I can eventually make my own authentic Bo Jackson jersey. That may take a little time to pull off, so maybe I'll just sit back and admire the card I have before me?
