1992 Topps Kids #103

Type: Base Card
Acquired: Bought Online
This is another one of my favorite Bo Jackson cards. In 1992 I was 11 years old and our local Mom & Pop drug store carried packs of these cards. The packs were only 35 cents each which made them very affordable for me. I bought pack after pack hoping to pull a Bo, but I never did. I did get some cool cards with some really cool designs, but it wasn't until almost 20 years later that I bought this card online for around $1. I'm glad I did. This was a childhood feat finally completed! Love the design, the cartoony graphics and the comics & info on the back. Awesome card from a unique set!

  1. I loved this set as a kid, and am still pretty fond of it to this day. I remember buying packs of these at the Albertson's (grocery store) that we lived by, though they didn't actually get them until 1993, right around the same time the X-Men series 2 set came out (which I also bought a lot of); because of this, the two sets will forever be linked in my mind.

    1. Oooh! Tough choice Topps Kids or X-Men cards? Why not both!
