Unlike the previous card that was reviewed this one really stands out for it's simplicity. There are very few graphic elements on the front, but those elements pop and don't take anything away from the photography. I always seem to like the batting shots of players waiting for a pitch to be delivered more so than the actual impact shots. It's probably because you can see the focus and determination in their eyes right before they connect. The back has a decent photo of Bo and my favorite, complete stats!
I remember these coming out .They were considered high end and much more expensive per pack than Topps ,Donruss,Fleer and Score.
ReplyDeleteIndeed they were. Every year it seemed the card companies were trying to outdo the other by offering more premium or high-end card sets. And we as collectors were suckered in!
