1987 FLEER #369

Type: Rookie Card
Acquired: Bought at a Show
Here is another early card of Bo Jackson. You could tell in the look in his eyes that he was ready to transform the game. A mix of speed and power never seen before was about to step up to the plate and it was legendary...short, but legendary. I like the layout of this card. The front is clean and the blue border on the front works with the Royals uniform colors. The picture is nice and the back gives us some great stats. FLEER was good with their stats in the 80s and early 90s. I always liked the day/night breakdown they would provide. This card however breaks down Bo's hits by where he made contact in the strike zone!

  1. At one point (I think 1989),Fleer had the before and after All Star break stats as well.I always liked that. This Is a great card btw.Players like Jackson did so much for MLB. From pretty much every standpoint. George Brett was great but I think Jackson really put KC on the map.

    1. FLEER was always good about getting deep into the player stats. Bo was a great ambassador for the MLB. I'm sure the league wishes they had more players like Bo.
